The lightweight and classy option from Maui Jim is the Maui Jim Beachcomber. These are really excellent glasses that you are just going to love. As with most of the sunglasses on offer from Maui Jim the Beachcomber sunglasses come in more than one color - this time just two - but it is two of my favorite colors that are synonymous with the Maui Jim brand. They are the black gold frames with the lush neutral grey lens and espresso frames with the warming HCL Bronze lens. If they did their rose ones in this style too we would be completely impressed.

In fairness these sunglasses are probably aimed more at men, as they are quite masculine, but that's not to say they wouldn't appeal to women too. They are more like glasses in style than sunglasses, with narrow metal frames and small lenses, but we think that this makes them just perfect for driving glasses as we all know the importance of being able to see clearly when you turn your head. Many thick framed sunglasses can cause a rather worrying blind spot when the head is turned left or right.

These glasses would really finish off the look for those who have a lovely open top car, with the sun beating down, wind all around - it really is a picture perfect image that is sure to get you noticed as you cruise down the highway. The Maui Jim Beachcomber has the added advantage of being available as prescription sunglasses, which means the door is open for even more people to have the stylish Maui Jim brand and still get the corrective lenses needed for driving. How refreshing it is to actually find a brand of prescription sunglasses that actually look good and are seen in Hollywood. You can feel cool as a cucumber as you stroll on the beach.

There are also the standard features of Maui Jim glasses that just leave you full of confidence that these Maui Jim Beachcombers are glasses of quality with excellent craftsmanship that will last for many years to come. They have PolarizedPlus2 lenses which offer the highest level of UV protection for your eyes, which is important as good eye care really matters. These lenses are super thin, keeping the overall weight of the Maui Jim Beachcomber sunglasses down. This makes them a joy to wear with no pressure at the nose thanks to the adjustable nose rests and very little pulling at the ears either. These will be comfortable from the minute you put them on until you take them off hours and hours later.

Add to this the scratch resistance of the lenses and the fact that they are saltwater treated so will not be damaged by occasional exposure to saltwater at the beach making these a first class pair of sunglasses. Yet again, Maui Jim have topped the table for quality and style.
