The Maui Jim Banyan range of sunglasses comes in 4 stunning colors and we just absolutely love them all, which sadly does mean we would want to squeeze the credit card and not tell the spouse and make it cover the cost of all four pairs. After all, we all have to have a pair of sunglasses for every occasion and to match every outfit, and whilst we concede that plain black sunglasses could possibly go with every outfit we own we still think all four colors are needed just to be completely sure.
These Maui Jim Banyan sunglasses are a very reasonable $179 and appeal to men and women and are good for those who like to be active. They fit well and can cope with running and jumping and do not dislodge. These stunning sunglasses are excellent for those who like to get in shape by jogging. They are equally good for a day on the golf course but also perfect more casual wear like going shopping or, of course, just sitting on the beach catching those rays.
You can be assured that your eyes are well protected when you are out and about as Maui Jim has PolarizedPlus lenses in pretty much all of its glasses. These protect the eyes from any harmful UV rays and cut out the glare no matter which color you fall in love with. In terms of looks, these lenses are frameless around the bottom half but have a solid frame across the top and plain arms. The frame material is Grilamid which is flexible, bendable, and extremely lightweight. Overall, these are spot on in terms of looks!
The four colors we mentioned are gloss black frames with a neutral grey lens, a stunning red tortoise shell frame with lovely HCL Bronze lenses, gloss black frames this time showing off Maui Jim's HT Lens, and last but not least, the red tortoise shell frames with Maui Rose colored lenses. Now you can imagine the dilemma and will probably want to get all four pairs too. Maybe you can sell it to the significant other in your life by saying that you can share the pairs, as long as you get first choice in the morning and can pick two for the day as changing one's mind is a definite perk!
What we really love about Maui Jim's sunglasses is the quality of the build and the timeless yet totally stylish designs they offer. You are just going to love wearing these glasses for years to come and they will not let you down. All of their lenses including Maui Jim Banyans are completely safe for saltwater so wearing them at the beach is no problem at all, even if you get them wet by mistake.
